In-Home Personal Care

Our elder care services can help your loved one live a better quality of life. We help with medication management, fall prevention, grocery shopping, transportation to and from appointments, authorized communication with healthcare providers and loved ones, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. Personal care services cover a wide variety of services where an in-home caregiver gives your loved one hands-on assistance with daily activities in the comfort of their own home. Having a caregiver can put you and your family at ease that your elderly loved one is in good hands.

Companion care services: Loneliness can make health problems and quality of life worse for people of all ages, especially with geographical distance from family members. Choice Health at Home provides companion care services to help ease the burden of loneliness and social isolation. Our caregivers help by playing fun board or card games, planning social visits, doing arts and crafts, talking about common interests, and taking the client out to social events like the movies or a restaurant.

Personal care services: Our caregivers assist with mobility, bathing, eating assistance, incontinence, and other activities that maintain their personal hygiene. They ensure your loved one is clean, hygienic, and practices good self-care and bathing habits. Caregivers help assist with skin care, brushing and washing hair, helping with dental hygiene, and dressing. Having an in-home caregiver can ensure your loved one gets one‑on‑one attention in the comfort and privacy of home.

Dementia care services: Watching a loved one cope with the effects of dementia is difficult, but our team offers high-quality, compassionate home healthcare services to help adults with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia. Our team is prepared and will pay attention to each client’s personal preferences, interests, and routines to personalize a plan focusing on all aspects of their well-being.

Travel companion services: In-home caregivers can assist with getting you or someone you care for out of the house to enjoy the things that fulfill them or improve their quality of life. Running routine errands can become increasingly difficult due to aging, a disability, or a temporary mobility restriction, but that does not mean that a trip to the supermarket or the park should remain out of reach. Transportation services may include trips to pick up prescriptions, to and from doctor’s appointments, and travel to visit family and friends.
